Online Music Community

We’re going to explore the on line band movement once again. My first reason to get on the internet was to publicize the fact that I was a musician and I was offering my services to all who would pay to have me at their party or event . I first joined GeoCities the Globe Tripod and Angelfire setting up websites and watching my keywords move on Yahoo and dmoz.org and this was 1997 almost ten years ago. I must add that I never got more than one call or email to quote each year for the first 5 years but it was enough to make me stick with it..

Slowly we built up our websites and have everything from our studio on line spots, sweeps, voice-overs, commercials, excerpts of our songs, podcasts complete songs all arranged for download from a db monitoring the traffic. And that is where we are now lot's of stuff but in need of a place to distribute it and collect the money.

We will also be looking at and maybe joining these onLine Music Communities learning how they operate and publishing our findings ...
