Podcasting made easy
Should I be writing more copy for PODCAST STATION? Damn right! yes I know I've only got 4 days on my trial version then no more podcaststation . Well it was fun while it lasted. I mean it's a great tool. PS works like a radio console and cart deck. Podcast Station is Windows compatible, built on the award winning VoxPro digital audio editor found in thousands of radio stations world wide. This single interface program will record, mix, edit and publish podcasts with a robust RSS editor and iTunes support.
Designed for the emerging podcast market, PodcastStation provides an easy to use production solution taking you from start tofinish on one screen. It's like having a broadcast console on your computer. On screen buttons can be assigned music, sound effects and interviews from any kind of formatted file, MP3, WAV, AIFF, whatever, with the ability to right click and edit them if necessary then play them back while recording your podcast. Five sliders help adjust the volumes and levels for the player, microphone, line-in, monitor and recording. With Podcast Station you can create your podcast show on the fly.
I did a french podcast yesterday you will think it's amateurish for sure but I had fun working with the new software. PS gives you a live feeling that you can't quite get when you're working with c00l edit. With a cart full of spots and sfx there is lot's to play around with. I like to play some of my crowd sounds and talk over them. PODCAST STATION makes radio production easy and as I said before, it's live and it's exciting. You'll want to push even more because now you have the control of the whole show.
I wish they would just give me the software and I'll keep writing and talking about them... but that doesn't happen on my corner of the internet ... I have to shell out $60. to get the key is it worth it ? to me I dunno I can still do my show without this application. I really don't do that much podcasting because I can write and read faster than I can speak or listen (podcaststation makes it real easy to speed up the voice with out changing the tone of the speaker).
